The Voice Of The Animals Society. An organisation designed to raise people's awareness of animal cruelty.
We hold many debates in which anyone can join in to talk about animal issues. We hold many competitions in which anyone can enter and vote. We are working on many projects.

As you can tell we've fallen behind quite a bit. I would give the exam excuse but it was over the holidays aswell so I needn't bother. So, I've decided to hand over the organisation of the website over to Michael (who you may know as Arthur). Yes, the organisation is still going, and going strong off the internet. Our projects are taking form very nicely. From the 5th of September Michael will have control. Good luck to all of you.
Alright, things have been slow with the site and that, I admit is my fault. I have been having a few things on at the moment and we have only been meeting off the internet, but prepare for the new Votas as we welcome you to behind the scenes...

So, then, it's a tie... !!!OVERULED!!! I don't want mine to win so Beagle's will win! Yay! You've won the comp - that's 5 stars! And I'll post your story!
Little Fox Run by Beagle
It ran, that’s all it could do. But they caught up with her, in the back of her mind she knew that they would. The hounds behind her were howling to her to run, they knew their instinct, they knew what would happen. But if they stopped the reluctant horses with their riders beating them with crops would trample them to death. Sadie was there; she could feel the hard ground beneath her paws, just as all of the other animals in this “sport” could! The little fox screamed of fear as she hurtled through a gap in the broken fence to Farmer Harold’s field. Farmer Harold didn’t hunt, and was adamant that no men or women on the trail of a fox, or any other animal would cross his field. The riders however jumped over the neighbouring fields fence and caught up with the fox in a flash. Sadie held back, she didn’t want to run, she knew the fox. A mother to a trio of little fox cubs, but a few weeks old. The humans knew nothing of that of course, but they would if they paid any attention to the environment around them. Last weeks hunt resulted in the father fox of this particular family being murdered as he fetched food for his cubs. Since then the mother fox had worked flat out day and night fetching food for herself and her young cubs. All the animals in the hunt, including the humans who didn’t have to do much at all were exhausted and many wheezing in the cold morning air. The mother fox continued to run flat out away from her chasers but as she reached a fence the poor thing stumbled on a fallen branch. She took but a split second to stand up, but it was two late. Sadie starred in utter pity as some of the dogs tore the fox apart. She took her last breath in a pool of blood, her last cry “My poor children, help them”. This selflessness touched Sadie, and sadness fell upon her. There was nothing that she could do. This hunt had condemned not only the mother fox, but also her three little cubs to death.

A Laboratory Life by Beagle
Snuggled up next to my mum,
Hoping her leave would never come.
But come it did, a few days after,
Then our tiny cage was drained of laughter.
From a hole in the railings,
We saw her face, heard her wailing.
Needles and tubes from her head,
But she was alive, not quite dead.
One final squeal of pain she died,
I couldn’t stop myself, I cried.
A wasted life, what a shame,
Little did I know mine would be the same.
Every day they test cosmetics on me,
The pain I suffer, so happy you’ll be.

The rat helps the rabbit get free whilst the rabbit is running the animal tester finds the rabbit . Parrot appears speaks down the microphone that all animals should be free then this random kangaroo appears and saves all the animals before the testing lab blows up.
Yeah... Not quite what I was looking for. At all. Oh well, the best one won!

What Is Animal Cruelty?
Animals have feelings. They feel pain, sadness, grief and almost all human emotions. Many animals are being put through torture and dying because of us. Animals are alive and deserve to live happy, painless lives like us. Animal cruelty is very common in today's human society. Meat. Animal tested products. Leather. Fur. Entertainment eg bullfighting. Hunting. Many animals are dying. Each second one million animals are dying for meat alone because of us. Usually in cruel ways. We need to do our bit to help stop animal cruelty. Become vegetarian or vegan. If you don't want to try at least just free range. Don't buy products tested on animals. Don't wear leather or fur or other animal clothes. Don't watch animal cruel programs or events. Don't go hunting. These are just small lifestyle changes and you can make up your mind whether you want to but each choice makes a difference.
Unfortunately I'm not gong to talk much about what these animals are going through as part of the terms state that I can't show anything vulgar on my site but two great websites to see the cruelty are www.peta.org and www.viva.org.uk. They are amazing websites and there are others in the links link.
How would I benefit from becoming vegetarian?
Becoming vegatarian would mean that you are less seceptable to many bad desieses including caner, less likely to suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, heart attacks and many other cases of bad health. Your intake of calcium, iron, amino and omega acids would increase.
What is a vegetarian?
A vegetarian is a person who doesn't eat any meat or wear any animal products.
Don't vegetarians eat fish?
No. People who eat fish but no other meat are peskatarians.
What is a vegan?
Vegans do not eat or use any products from animals [except sometimes honey].
But I Need Protein To Live!
Meat isn't the only source of protein! Protein is in most foods but is high in dairy products, pusles (beans, soya, lentils etc), nuts, tofu, textured vegetable proteins and seeds.
Would I Personally Benefit From Becoming Vegetarian?
Yes - It has been proven the vegetarians on average suffer less from diabeties, many tipes of cancer, high blood pressure, heart attacks and many other cases of bad health.
What About Other People?
Oh, yes. Basically, the European government and the American govement are literally forcing the people in the poorer countries to export food for our animals to eat - meaning that these people are dying in poverty by vast fields of food. Anyway, feeding animals these protein vegatables is ineficient. Every 10kg of vegetable protein given to an animal only produces 1kg of meat protein - 9kg is being lost. And, if you were given an equivilant of five football fields of land, you could grow enough beef to feed 2 humans, enough corn to feed 24, or enough soya to feed 61. This gives us over 30 times as much food - meaning thatwe could stop world hunger.
And What About The Environment?
Oh, yes that benefits too. Quite a bit. An area of trees about the size of 50 football fields is being cut down every second. Much of that is for cattle ranches, where cows graze, then move on. Trees are rarely re - planted, and even if they are, most nutrients are taken from the soil, so they probably wouldn't grow.
But Meat Tastes Nice!
We all have different tastes, and you like meat. Well, make your decision. Be selfish and give in to your tastes at the expence of animals, the environment, humans and your health. Or stop eating meat - sacrifice the taste and help save lives.
Oh, What Is A Fruitarian?
A fruitarian only eats fruit and nuts and beans etc... They don't eat any animals, any animal products or any foods that do not want to be eaten - fruit want to be eaten but vegetables don't.
Won't They Be Unhealthy?
Well, being a fruitarian, would be alright, as long as you make sure to make sure you get all of what you need.

Projects
We are currently working on some projects:
We are working on an anti-vivisection cartoon. A name has been decided. It is called 'The Warehouse'. A plot has is being plotted and is nearly done. We are currently writing the scrips, story boards and music. We have some animation cells. More information is soon to be released.
We are writing two songs.
