Join The Debate: Bird Flu

Are you worried about the expected flu pandemic? Think that it is evil to cull birds. Think the birds should be kept inside? Think that it is because of the awful conditions that broiler chickens live in that bird flu exists? What's your view on bird flu? Join the debate.

bird flu
treating birs in the way they are currently treated is wrong - they are real living creatures (though perhaps not as intelegent as humans) and I disagree with it ps. dont buy tesco value eggs the hens are treated badly

Go anonimus!!
I hate the way birds are treated!! Anyone who agrees with the humane treatment of animals gets a cheer from!! -vegan girl

I am worried because people with Ashtma get it really easily and I have asthma also it is ment to be the biggest pendemic in 30 years.

I suggest to not worry about it. Worrying makes it worse, getting stressed means that your mind begins to take over your body and you will become ill easier. Always stay positive. I, of course, also suggest not eating chicken or eggs as there is much, much more of a risk of you getting it that way.

I didn't know u could increase ur chances of catchin it if u ate chicken and eggs. It said on the news that it didn't affect anything! Which one's true?!?

It is true acording to the sources I found. (However as long as you (shudder) cook the chicken properly it's fine.)

However, if you bring eggs or chicken into the house that are contaminated and put them near other foods it is likely that it will spread. ________ But how are chickens going to get this desiese? It is most likely tov be carried in broiler or factory farms - the chickens all being compacted together in small cages - the desiese will easily carry. And this thing about bringing free range birds inside - it's almost useless as many wild birds manage to get into the barns.

I do agree with Jas in fact, I have already given eggs and chicken up even though I did eat some Chicken at The Bosville Arms- and had a bit of egg at Aromas. He he. But still I am going give them up until this disease is outta the air ps. I never knew about the Tesco eggs!
